ELDERS

The Elders assist the pastors in the spiritual care of the congregation.

DEACONS

Deacons assist the pastors during worship.  Deacons open and close the building, prepare and serve communion, and support the pastor in prayer.

SCRIPTURE READERS

Scripture Readers assist during the worship services by reading the scripture reading for the day. If you are interested in volunteering as a scripture reader please contact Gail Kanneg at gmskanneg@gmail.com 

USHERS

The Ushers are a group of volunteer leaders in the church who assist during worship services, including handing out bulletins, collecting the offering, and readying the sanctuary.

WORSHIP TECH

Our Worship Tech Team runs the technology that powers our sound, music, video, and livestreaming for worship each week. If you have skills in area of technology, this may be a great place for you to serve. Contact our Director of Worship, Juno Rada at juno.rada@splsorange.org if you are interested in serving on our Worship Tech Team.

WORSHIP CHOIR

This choir is for vocalists -teens thru adult- who enjoy singing.  The Worship Choir performs at traditional worship services at 5pm on Saturdays, once or twice a month.  Rehearsals are Wednesday nights from 7-8:30pm in the Fireside Room. No audition required.  Contact our Choir Director Erica Hantula at ericahantula@gmail.com.  

WORSHIP BANDS

Become a member of The Worship Band.  Instrumentals include:  Electric guitar, acoustic guitar, bass guitar, piano, synthesizer, drums, percussions and vocals with occasional brass and strings as needed.  Skill in reading musical chord charts and improvisation is needed. JOYFUL PRAISE BELL CHOIR

Note reading skills in either bass or treble clef required.  This choir typically serves our traditional worship services monthly.  Rehearsals are on Monday evenings at 6:30pm. Mrs. Gail Kanneg is the Director. No Audition required. Contact Gail Kanneg at gmskanneg@gmail.com
